He has every right to take out his firearm his he owned/chose to. I would have looked like an ass with a little pocket knife at that point but thats the way it would have gone down. I think if you were in the situation where your friend was picked up off his bike by the throat you would have done something as well. If you wouldnt, I really wouldnt consider you a friend.I got this one. Let me see. What would I have done.... let see. Oh I know. How about not doing a burn out and spewing gravel on some one just because you feel their too close. This falls under my one rule for the road. It is sooo easy to become judgemental and say that you over reacted, when honestly that guy had noo monkeyin rights to grab your buddy by his throat . Actually and intentionally touches or strikes another person against the will of the other; or2. But the big issue is any decent lawyer will argue defense of property and escalation of force against your friend. As soon as he did the burn out he caused the concern for damage to property. From there its a slippery slope. But in most counties in FL the guy would have been within his right if he shot you.
