--Aaron--
Yeah I have a stiffer one and a less stiffer oneWell, try making sure all unused nipples etc are capped, the BOV hooked into your intake manifold or the vac tree, go to a stiffer spring and see if that helps. R wagon
sooo i go home and work on the BOV. Put in a stiffer spring turned the car, it started, and then it just stalled. When you give it gas its very hesistant. Idk what the problem is. Anyone else with suggestions?

Are you sure there's no damaged I/C hoses or anything of the sort? I know this problem just arose during the BOV project but it can't hurt to look. R wagon
not to sound like an idiot but i noticed a couple days ago the bottom bolt of the block off plate wasnt on all the way. The other 2 are tight though. Could this be the reason of my problems?

Did you use any kind of sealant/gasket type stuff on the blanking plate itself? I was reading around that people like to use something on the blanking plates but Chuck advised it would be just fine if I just threw it on without.....no leaks right now to report, just be sure the mating surface is clean. --Aaron--
the forge one has 2 O-rings on it to make sure it doesnt leak I was talking about the blanking plate that goes in place of the CBV housing. I think you had the BOV mixed up with my talking about the blanking plate. If that blanking plate's not sealing correctly it would cause a decent boost leak. B Mac
The blanking plate wouldn't cause this big of a problem. There's enough air coming out of the box to cool you off if you stick your face next to the bov. It's simply not sealing properly. Even if there WAS air leaking from the blanking plate, it's certainly not as much as the air coming out of the bov at idle.
Yellow95
The BOV is brand new. If the blanking plate isnt sealing, that is without a doubt your problem. If you have "cool" air coming out of the BOV, then your intercooler is vastly superior to all of ours.Where do you have the vac line to the bov originating from?Pics would help greatly.Gary
