JCviggen
The autobox doesn't like high rpm's though, better do a manual swap if you want to rev it high...with fuel cutoff you mean RPM limiter then? Not load limiter as I thought you were referring to that.
flyfishing3
yeah, fuel cut off/ rev limiter.the map i have raises the cut off.i don't have a good dyno run to show numbers, but whats interesting on the runs i did get, the HP was still increasing right up to cut off. JCviggen
Moving up the rev limiter is no problem, getting the box to shift later if you're not locking it in a gear though is something a bit different unfortunately

I will say one thing straight away. This tool is NOT for everybody. There is a learning curve, and a somewhat steep one at that. Basic knowledge of an internal combustion engine, the effect of advance, combustion temperature, compression ratio related to boost and introduction of fuel at high boost levels are a must. It is extremely sophisticated in the sense that you are tuning rpm ranges based on load, this is a large table that effects hp and torque throughout the RPM and load range. Be prepared to spend a fair amount of time fine tuning your car, and building a new engine if you FAIL.Alrighty then who's interested!
JCviggen
Of course it could still save a lot of time and effort that peeps can actually flash their own ECU, even if the images are made by someone else (you for example) :)
Boost_Junky
Exactly, we can all share tunes as well, right? It's just a file.I'm taking mine to a porsche tuner here in town anyway. I want it to be flexible and cost effective. I need it to be able to tune my car effectivly through M4.3, so I do not have to go stand alone. My initial impression is that the versatility is there to really fine tune all ranges of driving. It's just going to take some time to get every detail just right. The auto ECU should be flashable to a manual. I will find out for sure.

Maybe best to let someone that does this for a living give it a go for a few hours.
Guest 300+_T5R_855
Edited for incorrect info.A manual car can use either a manual ECU or an auto ECU (without CEL on Eurospec)An auto car can only use an auto ECU.The finishing touches are being put on the manual and as soon as it is ready, it will be available for review. mdlimy
The auto and manual ECU's are different. If you have a manual car you will need a manual ECU for a core or pay the core charge. The finishing touches are being put on the manual and as soon as it is ready, it will be available for review.sounds good! cant wait.ps more pictures =]
