USMC850T
To those whom have done this, what value did you use. I have a bad o2 sensor which is delaying my car from passing inspection and I'm completely sick of buying expensive parts for my 152K mile car. What value resistor should I use?? Ozark Lee
The only condition where you can use a resistor to trick the ECU is if the heater on the sensor is bad. The book resistance specs are 1.5-2.5 Ohms at 68° and 6-10 Ohms at 660°. I would guess that a 5 Ohm would do the trick but I suspect that if the heater isn't working it will start throwing efficiency codes. The heater wires are the two white wires....Lee
