High Flo Cat...

R wagon

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I plan on doing an exhaust on my c70 very soon. I plan on getting a 3 inch downpipe and want to replace my cat with a high flow one. I understand that there is an O2 sensor on the cat so I was wondering about the different ways I can make a high flow cat work without getting a code. Also what is recommended for cats company wise? Thanks

Ben

there are two O2 sensors... one before the CAT which is used for A/F ratio

and the 2nd is after the CAT that lets you know if the CAT is bad. (you do not NEED this one) but it will throw a code

people have created Spacers for the rear o2 sensor so that it does not read bad.

I think a post in the last week had information on a O2 Spacer for the cat

Ben you've seen the cat I have in the garage right?? In the big "jegs" box. I got my first 3" cat for like, 70 bucks, magnaflow. When it got shipped to my house the internals were in pieces, so jegs sent me (next day) a spun cat (like sconemans) for only 10 bucks more and they ate the overnight saturday shipping. Lemme know if you need help piecing it together and getting it welded.
