BlackBeast Posted September 27, 2008 Report Share Posted September 27, 2008 Any help would be appreciated.My '97 V70 T5 with the Motronic 4.4 ECU has been layed up for the last couple of months waiting for me to work on it when i have the time and the weather on my side.Things that have been done are custom intercooler, radiator, custom oil cooler and lines, samco boost and coolant hoses, forge bov, silicone vacuum hoses, thermostat, coolant sensor, pcv system etc venting to atmos, oil change of course and injectors cleaned. Ive also sold the rica 310 ecu that i had and bought a second hand standard ecu.Now here's the problem, I keep on getting these 2 codes:-EFI-242 - Turbocharger control valve signalEFI-541 - Canister purge (CP) valve signalIve cleaned all the contacts with leccy cleaner but to no avail. I ran out of ideas and cleaned the ecu contacts. Started the car, couple of seconds later, engine light comes up on the dash, read the codes and the 2 codes appear again, but this time with an extra code:-EFI-212 Front heated oxygen sensor (H02S) signal Now I know I havent touched anything regarding either of the o2 sensors. Have i bought a duff ECU? Do i have a problem with the wiring? Cant see the pcv affecting any of this (venting to atmos) or the bov, all the hoses are new etc. This close to giving up :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
