What Will I Run Into Running 225/45/17 On Pegs On An 850?

I've got lowering springs and 17" pegs and picked up some 225/45/17 tires for cheap. What can I expect for issues with this combination? I have 5mm spacers I was thinking about putting on the rear and possibly rolling the fenders this weekend if necessary. The reason I didn't get 215s was because stretched tires belong on Vdubs.....haha. Any input would be much appreciated.

you will probably run into a cat, a possum and possibly a giraffe.

you won't be too bad, 5mm spacers for the front would be a good idea. Just expect a lot of inside rubbing at full lock.

So 5mm in the front as well as 5mm in the rear? Do I need to go wider in the rear?.........I like it wide in the rear!!

i was thinking about doing a cool combo like 5 in front and 10 in the rear so it looks like i'm running RWD

I would go 5 in the front and at least 10 in the rear. I'd go 15 in the rear and roll the fenders. It really changes the look of the rear when you push out the wheels. With my winter setup I run no spacers in the front and 15mm in the rear with my cetus. Only reason I don't run them with my 18s is that i can't find anyone who makes extended tuner style lugs.

no, then you'll just have an even track. The front will still actually be wider then the rear.

10mm in the rear with no spacers in the front and you'll have a pretty even track. You'll have to go with some pretty aggressive spacers in the rear, wider rear tires with some major fender rolling to get a RWD look.
