turbomoose
I can not believe the bad luck I've had with EVERY non genuine volvo part I put into my car! I get home, park my car, come out a few minutes later and there's a puddle of fluorescent green on my garage floor. So I back my car out, open the hood and there's a misty spray coming from my 8 month old coolant reservoir bottle. I bought this from eEuroparts in February and I've put MAYBE 4K miles on my car since. It's not ScanTech but "QEM" part.I guess I'll be visiting the dealer tomorrow morning since it starts spraying after about 10 minutes. Oh, and I can not believe how important a water hose is when you live in a zero maintenance community but still have a garage. mop buckets full of water to wash out the garage floor so kitty doesn't kill himself isn't as convenient as a hose. The lesson kids: Don't buy non genuine Volvo parts and expect them to last more than a few months. No matter how insignificant the part may be. turbomoose
Oh I know. I should have learned after all the scancrap spring seats I went through, then the strut mount bearing thing... and now this. I'm just happy this is the last of the non volvo parts on my car. shurgen
You know that eeuroparts has 1 year warranty on all parts they sell. So, you should get a replacement for free.

turbomoose
You know that eeuroparts has 1 year warranty on all parts they sell. So, you should get a replacement for free.Yes, BUT there's a catch. I have to send them my defective part, they take a few days to look at it, then decide if they're going to send me a replacement part.I don't have that luxury of time. I need this part tomorrow. And I really don't want to go through the trouble of boxing this up and paying money to send it out. So I'm going to toss this part and NEVER buy non Volvo parts again. I only lost $30.00, so it's not a big deal. I guess I learned two lessons. Never buy crap, and just buy parts at the Volvo dealer from now on. shurgen
I hear you. Eeuroparts cary a lot of oem parts that are way cheaper than dealer and always cheaper than fcp, plus free shipping. I learned my lesson too buy buying a few aftermarket parts from eeuroparts but they carry both oem and aftermarket - in the long run you get what you pay for.
