Livvakt
So.Awhile back (like... a LONG fucking time ago) I got into some bullshit and ended up screwing up my passenger side front strut. Decided to use this as the time to do some upgrades, so I picked up some Koni adjustables for the front and rear, and some eibachs (wishing I grabbed maybe H&Rs now ) to swap 'em all out.Come to find out, I need a new front strut mount on that passenger side. Been caught up with some other stuff, so I haven't gotten a chance to snag two- I figure I should do both.Anyone have a line on any? I could use a deal seeing as I've got to do my brakes right now as well as putting some money into my new wheels Thanks in advance guys, I appreciate any and every potential helping hand (OH! And if anyone wants to swap H&R or some other nice, low spring setup-- all four-- for an Eibach prokit that has ZERO miles on it... Let me know )

7 VII 7
What're your thoughts on this situation they've got at the moment?nopeI had these and they are sh1t... when it says OEM quality... run awayneeds to be OEM and verified by seller that they are OEM... I believe the OEM ones are Sachs/Bogewhat you need but call to make surenot sure about this, but I would call them good deal
Livvakt
Am I right in thinking I should upgrade both, or is that just a waste of money?

Livvakt
answer these questions for meare your spring seats (rubber bushings) OEM and how many miles? To the extent of my knowledge, yes, they are OEM... Just broke the 100K mark.are your strut mounts OEM and how many miles? Yeah, pretty sure they're OEM as well... same as the seats.why are you looking to get new strut mounts? When the strut got bent, it also bent the strut mount a bit. We've already checked everything else suspension related; nothing else is broken/busted/etc.So yeah.
7 VII 7
ok, if you got 100k on your original spring seats... I would upgrade get new ones if you plan on keep your care longer... hell even if you lower it I would get the XC90 spring seats... Don and Waltrip got them for me for $29 each which are awesome OEM!!! part number is 30683637as for the strut mounts... I think you can get by with just buying one... they are not really known to fail of they are OEM.buy two spring seats OEM XC90 from Donthen buy one strut mount OEM and you should be setI would not worry about replacing the other one since they do not fail that often (that is what I am doing)
Livvakt
That's kind of what I was thinking as well... I mean, the unit feels pretty solid for an OEM unit, so I figured I should be able to get away with just replacing the one mount. As for the new seats, what are the benefits of using the XC90 ones versus the OEM ones for the 850?(Still interested in spring trades if anyone's down )

I've got the MBC sitting here, along with some silicon hose and mounting brackets (if you so do chose to mount vs. ziptie )... Was gonna send it down with Matt last Saturday, but he stayed up here. I had planned on bringing it to Fixx for you, so we definitely should just do that haha
