ahah this also reminds me whenever i buy a part online it gets shipped in my dads name because its his name on paypal so according to him he has a bunch of parts for his 850, i told him that he needed an R bumper for the front lip spoiler and he just said ok I'll just pay for it through pp since its set up to withdraw from your accound :P

yeah i guess applying for scholarships and a 3.9 unweighted made my mom think i was trying to get denied

I think there's a misunderstanding. I was just speaking abstractly and hypothetically. I don't actually think you fall into that scenario I described. However I should add, I know someone with stellar grades and is absolutely brilliant who did his best to ensure he was not accepted to Cornell or Brown. Yes, I see the contradiction too.

elaborate... if you have stellar grades etc... how do you ensure you're not accepted as if you would have been unconditionally

Personally I don't mind... but can see where you're coming from. My family members and my girlfriend typically do not open my mail... but in the past when my brother or mother has opened it, I've never had an issue with it... unless I never hear about it and it goes missing.

when i approached my wife about it, she was more hurt than mad about it. she's sorry for opening it, but then she also said she was so used to doing it and the way the envelope was addressed it "looked" like the b/s urgent letters. none the less she's my wife and she gets full discolsure. i figured it's best to talk about it and we get over it than not say anything and we fight over it years later. i'm in it for the long haul with my wife, so rather fight--->heated discussion, and move on than get a divorce later on.

Exactly. His parents basically have told him since day one how life is gonna go. Do this, do that. They were only trying to do him well, but pushed to hard and he felt it sucked the life out of him. So they were sure to check that he had applied to the proper Ivy League's, but he had to take a dive and make it look unintentional. He ended up in McGill up in CA, where he was happy falling and putting powder up his nose. $150k later in rehabs and wards and hes back at home wondering wtf to do with his life.
