matt b
If a Volvo guru in CA orders parts from them, you know they're solid. It's the only place I get OEM stuff. Jamie has helped me on a lot of misc projects, some of which resulted in sales, some of which didn't.Oh and R
Volvo Virgin
Prices are low because these are old cars! Some of the parts are not in production anymore.I'm thinking your thought process is a little upside down. I've been restoring old cars for 20+ years, and the older they get the more expensive the parts get. My '70 Vette is killing me on some new old stock parts right now. And some of the reproduction parts are even worse.Bottom line is these parts are cheap because they're choosing to discount the snot out of them and/or not gouge the hell out of us with ridiculous mark-ups. It's refreshing to see a dealership ran with some good old principles of supply/demand and decent customer service. The short-sighted greed of most dealersips still amuses me. Chilled man
I did have one bad experience. I asked Jamie for a free 18T turbo and he said no without even thinking about it or checking with his manager. Bad business if you ask me.Gary He is the parts manager

I got my wagon spoiler for $135 w/ hardware shipped to my door. $235 for my unpainted R bumper. Sick.was the $135 shipped before or after the july 2008 price increase? Guest 300+_T5R_855
Can you get the BBK there too? How about a 3" down pipe?Guess what, they are selling at the wholesale price. If you spend a certain $$$ amount with them or are a shop that is how you usually get these prices. Your volume of purchases used to get you discounts, now it doesn't matter. This royally eff's up the market. I'll bet if their local shops found out they were doing this they would be pissed too. I used to make a small margin on Volvo parts and used it to supplement my other products. Without being able to do that I don't have enough after market parts to keep chasing Volvo sales. I have a few products that are in testing, but may not bring them to market due to the lack of overall support. R&D costs time and money. At some point you will realize that supporting vendors because they have good customer service and a few parts unavailable elsewhere, but may not be the LOWEST price on the block on every part has long term benefits. I believe in competition just like the rest of us, but this is like when Edelbrock would sell manifolds to SuperShops and SuperShops would retail them for less than we could buy them from our wholesale house. Racers would come to us to pick our brain on what to use and then go buy the item from SuperShops. Guess what, SuperShops is no longer in business, because they didn't have the expertise behind the product they sold, and we no longer offer free information. If customers put a value on the information they received, they would have bought the product from us. Now they get neither. You make the call. Chilled man
I can get the volvo BBK from them and go to OBX for there DP And your whole thought on this is total and completely wrong We are not buying after market parts from them we are buying OEM parts items your not selling so ? what you had to same makes absoultey no sense what so ever and your argument is retarded. Plain and simple why buy from the local dealer when I can buy from them get better service and better pricing. So again ???? what are you talking about ? Chilled man
Are these guys any cheaper than, say, FCP?FCP sells scantech junk that breaks every year. I would rather buy my stuff once every 100k or more lol and yes they are very close price to FCP you will pay more since it is VOLVO OEM not cheap knock off junk I think you guys are missing they are a VOLVO DEALER again for the retards VOLVO DEALER just once more incase the idiots dont understand VOLVO DEALERthey give us better pricing since its buisness they wouldnt normally get ,and that takes little work to do. There not some aftermarket shop , there not two guys in there there house selling aftermarket junk They both work for the volvo dealer and your getting billed from the volvo dealer. So your getting Volvo OEM parts that if you wanted to pay more for the exact same thing you could go to your local dealer and pay 30-40% more if you like to throw money away I will give you my paypal and you can deposit all you want there. JehovArob
Thanks, I realize they're a Volvo dealer... I was unaware that FCP sells such crappy products, though... Everything I've gotten there always seems to be of good quality. Bosch and the like (at least for tuneup parts)...What kind of stuff are you referring to that's such low quality?
