shellshock
I was told that the SC line of Volvo radios use the Alpine interface for the CD changer, which leads me to this. Will a Aux input adapter, designed for a Alpine radio work for the Volvo radio?http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=71Figured you guys would know :D

JehovArob
Oh man. Something like this would be sweet for an iPod! (But can you really charge it straight from 12v like that??? )
JehovArob
Well, from what I've read, the iPod can handle from 5~18V! Shocking!

JehovArob
5. Will this interface also charge my iPod?YES, the interface charges the iPod while the radio is on and charges the iPod for 20 minutes after the radio is turned off.Ah ha. That's why it costs $70... Fudge_Brownie
Ah ha. That's why it costs $70...And I promise you, it's worth every penny One single cable that comes up the dash and turns on and off the ipod, provides power, and a direct clear audio connection. JehovArob
That is pretty great.Does the stock H/U provide enough power to drive some decent aftermarket speakers? (I might try doing something like that in a different car when I get myself a new one. Perhaps a V70R or something )
