Mossback Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 WSP to saturate I-5 Wednesday and Thursday with biker copsby The Associated Press Tuesday October 21, 2008, 6:35 AMWashington State Patrol motorcycle troopers will be out in force on Wednesday and Thursday, looking for speeders and aggressive drivers on Interstate 5.The emphasis patrols from Vancouver to Bellingham are designed to reduce the number of collisions caused by speed and aggression.State Patrol Chief John Batiste says drivers who are too fast and aggressive are a main cause of traffic accidents.The State Patrol has 44 motorcycle troopers assigned to work throughout Washington state; 37 of them are assigned to this two-day speed emphasis patrol.
