Ghost Shadow Posted October 26, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 26, 2008 justin had a write up? didn't use the same i think. my leds came in a tube (pics 1)and the led strip was thin(pic2) i opened the tube and pulled the LEDS out. then sinc ethe LED strip is copper color. i sprayed the led strip with the SEM spray to "blacken" the strip but quickly wiped off the leds so the paint doesn't stick to the bulbs(kinda stupid if they did). then i tacked the strip in place with some BLACK hot glue. went back and filled in the blanks.12used these LEDShttp://autolumination.com/tubes.htm * 30cm (14") LED Flexible Light Tubes * 30 leds per tube 10mm (3/8") diameter * Only 0.09 amps @ 12 voltswired them into the parking lights, (+) from the LED to the (+) of the marker light and (-) from the LED to the (+) of the turn signal filament. this way the halos and the turn signal will flash alternating.
