caliwagon
It's time again for the annual Bozzani Volvo Show in Covina. Good news is that this year they are expanding that FWD judging categories so it will be easier than ever to take home a nice award for your car (though you all need to vote for my '67 in the 1800 Modified category). Registration is a must if you want your car to be a part of the event. It's a good idea too, since it goes to support our hobby, and since a cookout lunch is provided! Registration is $20 the day-of, but only $15 if you register in advance. dbarton
I get a lot of feedback on this show each year and I use what I can to try to improve it. The show judging is always a lively debate.CHANGES IN JUDGING and CLASSES:For this year, the people's choice ballot will only be for one award... the People's Choice. All others will be judged by a team (more below).I've made some changes to the classes, hopefully for the better. What has changed most is that several types of cars have been split up by year/range/model. For instance, the 1800 classes are now all divided, P1800, then 1800E, then 1800ES, all separate, stock and modified for each. I hope enough show up.Even more changes, you'll find the 240 class has now been broken up between 1975-85, then 1986-93. 700/900 are divided and the 850 is separate from later FWD/AWD models. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED...To pull this off, I need help. It won't take much, but these new classes will be judged by a judging team, which I still need volunteers for. Brad Benson has volunteered to head up the team. I'm estimating it might take 45 minutes out of your day, beginning about 10:30 or so. I'd like to have 4 to 6 people, not including Brad. 6 people might have it done in 30 minutes. It won't be complicated. No judging experience needed. Anyone willing to help, please email me at dbarton@linkline.com.Thanks,Dave B.Bozzani Show Info... click here.

Aequitas_Veritas
I just registered. Other people should do the same, they had food and prizes last time and hardly anyone paid, but everyone ate and got prizes. I think we should pay the measly $15 and support our hobby.
