BlackBeast Posted November 9, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 9, 2008 Spoke with Accralite, they wanted £155 + VAT each plus i needed to send them a standard piston to work from, so thats out, JE want $175 each, but then i have delivery and customs to think about. I know I'll spend $500 ish for the R-Sport rods but pistons and rings, IDK? All the mentioned compaines have decent reps. I don't want to spend a billion dollars though.Which brings me to the bearing question. When doing a build do you guys use stock bearings? What are the options there? What are the options there?IIRC, I paid about $80.00 per piston from a buddy at a dealer. I used OEM bearings, but like stated, others have used Calico.
