i used cx racing pipes for my rip kit and they r great. they come with really nice couplers and heavy duty t bolt clambs. the ends of the tubes also have a lip so the couplers cant easily slide off like some others i've seen. i've never blown a coupler off since i've had the pipes on. i'd say try it out

although i've never heard of anyone using an intercooler from them.

the RIP kit isn't an aftermarket FMIC though, I think you are missing the point. I think that kit would be good but you might need a few additional pipes or different bends. Check out this thread...

I ran that setup for a bit. Well worth it to test out the form and funtion, but after the core needs to be upgraded to work great.

so how does it run with the cx racing core? can u notice a diff. with that one in or did it not do too much till u put a new intercooler in?

Mine's being sourced together as we speak. Going with a Skyline R34 core from Forge Motorsport and all of the aluminum and silicon bends are being fabbed up through siliconhoses.com

... Been in the works for awhile now, but quality takes time :)

I amusing a CXRacing core and noticed a difference. Not so much extra power but the car runs better on hot days and the smaller core reduces spool-up time a little. I'm sure going to a higher-quality core would help the pressure loss but for the stock 16t I think my ebay core is doing fine.

yes that one sucks balls.

the reason is is that you are payen 275 for something only half done, and maybe missing parts you may need
