gdizzle
You can compare the statistics, I've got faith in you Sean. I don't think natural disasters are racially motivated in their focus or their intensity. Tell that to Kanye West.

Pops Racer
You can compare the statistics, I've got faith in you Sean. I don't think natural disasters are racially motivated in their focus or their intensity. It wasn't sexy enough for the social elites or important enough for the Washington limousiners. Those folks needed as much help as N.O.Plus no way to blame Bush, tho they are still trying. I'm freezing my ass off up here in Ct, no one is screaming that it's Bushes fault or Global Cooling. Which has now been "changed" to Climate Change. More change than any man has a right to!.
Pops Racer
It was just a matter of time.. and it will get worse Yup, the recidivism rate is nearly as high as that of pedophiles. What, they will like us after we let them loose?.They are prisoners of war, and should not be released until the war is over. Actually, because they wear no uniform of a sovereign state, they can be considered spies, and shot on site, or held indefinitely. No trial needed or required. Why would you bring them to prisons in the states? It would be more expensive, politically and financially, than leaving them right were they are. How can it be worse than SuperMax? Caribbean winds, nice and sunny, close to the Communists, plenty of water and bathing opportunities...This administration has garnered no more support for it's war strategy than the Bushies. We have made no more friends, no more troop or money commitments, and certainly no one wants a pet Gitmo detainee in their system. We just have come off weaker and softer in the last 5 months. Look at how the goofballs have tested us. Sanctions against N. Korea? What a joke, blockade them? Stop shipping them food? China has been getting frisky, Iran will bait Israel into a panty raid and start some interesting Mid-East shit, and what will B.H.O. and Pelosi do? Nothing. Write a letter to the U.N., they are full of answers and actions. What a waste of prime real estate in Manhattan. We are the U.N. I'm getting blood pressure again...GM sucks, and Ford is a hero. Did you see what the UAW got Vs. what the bond holders received? Boned in the butt without a reach around, thats what. Paying back supporters with my tax money, what a great idea, thanks Barack and Timmy... 1/20/2013, we can start to rebuild our country again.
mrtl321
Something that I found interesting. My aunt recently went back to Germany and they would not exchange US "Greenbacks" (US Dollars) for Euros. She was told that they would no longer be exchanging due to the instability of the US. She then had to go to a US military base (which she is allowed to be at since my uncle is retired military) and she was told she would have to wait a minimum of 2 days for them to even be able to exchange any amount of money. So I'll let it go from here....

BUT id rather have government officials sit down and figure out a way to get more creative with the money they have rather than going to the instinctive answer to any problem, which is to raise taxes. Can't see this happening at all. A tracking system for all cars? Civil rights people will shoot it down. thats the same thought, but its america...anything can happen. MADD or some other anti-speeding group could push for this with the addition of being able to track speed so they could ticket you that way. who knows.
