turbowagoneer855 Posted November 11, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 11, 2008 so, even if the bellhousing went all the way in, there's a chance the input shaft isn't indexed right? I know what the books say, but I wanted to try something new.the way i did it wass: I had an assistant turn the crank,while I was slowly pushing on the transmission's body, until it slided in effortlessly (didn't come out right, did it? ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Win from Nathan Again ok can you turn the crank the whole way around ..............acutally dont both you will break something . take it off put the torque converter in the tranny and bolt it up the correct way.
