No Response From Climate Control Centre Knob

Hi

I am trying to locate the problem with my climate control without expensive dealer code diagnostics.

Story so far -

Both passenger and driver side temp controls work

REC flap works

BUT The centre nob that controls the air direction flaps gives no result, no matter what setting none of the flaps move. Surely not all the motors are shot could it just be the control knob?

Is this the climate control ecu failure even though everything else works OR is it the dashboard knob not working?
