lookforjoe
I bought the whole car. It was sitting at the scrap yard all lonely looking so i asked how much for what was left of it. Was $500 a good price? it is missing a few parts...3 wheels, most of the interior (seats, steering wheel, and most dash buttons) no bumber and the fenders are trash, no hood. motors bad and alot of parts missing from it. What it looks like is that it rear ended a truck with a large trailer hitch. But it has everything i think it needs for a m66 swap. Cool! This is a S60R AWD?what about the clutch line?sorry if I missed it.The hydraulic line from an 850 or V70 works. What style depends on whether you're going internal/external/dualmass/singlemass

cmurphy2266
There are FWD M66 transmissions from S40 T5 FWD cars which were only made from 04.5 through the 06 model year for the US market.I believe Project 6 used an AWD M66 tranny for his 850 swap. Not only that, but the 05+ S60 T5 has a 6-speed manual tranny. lookforjoe
what style is exactly what I am asking... I am using what is pictured a M66 with internal hydraulic bearing...If it's the same as mine then, you need to order the line from an '00 V70. It will require some bending, since the M66 is a different case design than an M56. Do you also have the plastic elbow coupling that connects the slave to the line & contains the bleed nipple? lookforjoe
What is left of a c70Can you take pics of the differential? I'm just curious what the non AWD case looks like. I wonder if the RS axle splines are also different, as with the AWD version - since that was an issue for ultra-runner.
lookforjoe
yes, the bleed nipple points at the starter and the connection faces up...I think the hose comes in from the left side, not from the top, but maybe it has a loop, since it's (from the slave coupling attachment) metal/flex/metalI never took any pics from that angle..it's concealed in this one.....anyway, it doesn't matter - once you get the line, it'll be self-explainitory
