Zulu
I'm looking for a small, simple slider phone...don't need any of the cool features nor the internet. I just want something that will hold a 2GB or so memory card so I can play some music. I used to have the Samsun SGH-E635 and that thing was sick......now I'm got the Samsung Blast and I really can't stand that thing, though I have forcibly gotten used to it.Any of the phone gurus got some suggestions? Smaller/simpler the better.

JehovArob
I have T-Mobile and you're all missing the first sentence...Good. Get an iPhone!Small, simple SLIDER phone..Ugh. Why would you want a slider phone? I had a flip phone as my first 3 phones and was all like, "I love flip phones and never want anything else." Then, BOOM, I got an iPhone and all of that nostalgic sh!t when out the window!(Again, why a SLIDER phone?!?!? I would think they're even worse than flip phones... )
Serge
Slider phones are notorious for having the LCDs go out. The flexible cable that connects the screen with the body starts to go bad. My gf had two of her phones break like that. I replaced one with a replacement cable from eBay.

JehovArob
Slider phones are notorious for having the LCDs go out. The flexible cable that connects the screen with the body starts to go bad. My gf had two of her phones break like that. I replaced one with a replacement cable from eBay.Ha! Wow.The reason I had to replace my flip phone was that it used a little button that the top-half pushed down on the bottom-half to determine if it was closed or open. (Motorola did this stupid design. My Samsung and LG had that stuff internal to the hinge or something...) Anyway, the contacts on the button must have gotten dirty so, when I opened it, it would think it was getting opened, then closed, and then opened again really quickly. Needless to say, the darn thing would hang-up on people all the time when I went to answer it... (I tried to circumvent this problem by setting the phone to require a button press to answer a call, but it would send the call to voicemail if you opened-and-closed the phone without ever answering... )iPhone isn't without problems, but they're worth dealing with for what you get! ;)
7 VII 7
I am looking at picking up the BlackBerry Storm tonight... we at least buying it and they will ship it to meI can pick it for $149.99 after $100 in instant rebates and my company's 20% off and new every 2 with VerizonI currently have a phone plan of $45 a month and it included 450 anytime min along with IN calling and unlimited messaging...with the new BlackBerry service it would be under $80 after taxes to pick up the new service and use the blackberry for e-mail and messaging and unlimited internet! now that is a deal!
