J0E
Nah, the iPhone isn't that great for texting, IMHO. I don't like typing on the glass touch screen. Give me actual keys any day.I got used to it after the second day. I can type as fast on my iPhone as anyone with a BlackBerry or any other standard QWERTY device. The auto-correction function works great, as well. The iPhone 3G is still the best device out there. It's a statement when every single manufacturer has their sights set on creating an "iPhone killer." Unfortunately, Apple's closest competitor, RIM, came up horribly short with the Storm as I have yet to meet someone who has handled it who doesn't think it's a joke. (I thought that sounded pretty cool, but I guess I can see how it would get annoying...)

(I thought that sounded pretty cool, but I guess I can see how it would get annoying...)no you have to click to get the letter to registeryou run your finger over the letter and it will highlight it but then you get it to select you have to click it (press harder) I have pretty big hands and it is easy to txt... I like itwith the new OS upgrade it is quicker with the menus... it is only going to get better with OS upgradesHere is a video of the old 65 OS and new 75 OS... you can notice a great difference in speedYouTube Video

7 VII 7
it makes typing better by registering your touch and click faster so you have less of a delay which helps with typing :arob:

I am not a BlackBerry Power User so I should be fine with it... upgrade in OS should make it good for me I would get the Bold or Curve if I had to use it for work. His company has a contract with Verizon and everyone there has a BlackBerry. Currently, he is hating his Pearl and had thought that he wanted a Storm... (He figures they'll get them all Storms now since they always get them terrible, terrible BlackBerries... )
