He has slightly different brakes I think and also a different exhaust...but the same weight reduction/19T with blitz/KW etcHe said they had a run with a 911 GT3 in 3rd gear and it didnt gain anything on them at all :lol: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

volflo Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 it managed to stay with the gt3? or didn't gain on the gt3?toni's doesn't look quite as low as florian's setup..←it is. this is a left bend.i did a race with my friends 2003 gt3 (381 bhp stock) with cargraphic exhaust, MANTHEY set up and cooleri thought he would have been faster but at 20psi in third from around 80k to 150k i gained -honestly to my surprise- significantly on him (about 15 to 20 yards). i dont know what his revs were tho. maybe won by mere torque.i talked to him afterwards (cos i was heading home from the ring adn wanted to say good-bye) and he was friendly as always, saying "hmm. oh yes. your car runs very nice." but he couldnt quite hide his disappointment. he was in a way very sad. and i really felt sorry for him. i mean, he has been working very hard for this car (110 tEUR is hella money) and then a almost ten year old volvo costing a fifth gets past him. i would have been sad. honestly.
