Yeah, I have been hearing good things about Sparta, I need to check them out.

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D SPARTA IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're playing on Letterman tonight. ;)

ok, I try to enjoy all genres of music so here goes

Rock

Sparta - Porcelain and Wiretap Scars (for their overall sound)

John Mayer - Heavier Things (good acoustic)

Avenged Sevenfold - Waking the Fallen and Sounding The Seventh Trumpet (great guitar)

Classical

Frederic Chopin's Tristesse

Violin Concerto, No. 3: "Strassburg" K. 216, 3rd Movement

Rap/R&B

Petey Pablo - Still Writing In My Diary 2nd Entry

Nelly - Sweat and Suit

Kanye West - College Dropout

...and many others that are not currently on my playlist.

I like Death Cab for Cutie, but not the postal service.

Booo!!!

"Give Up" by TPS is the only CD I've actually bought in the last 5 years or so. I heard "Such Great Heights" in a video put together by a local drifting group and had to check out some other Postal Service songs online. I liked their stuff so much I actually went out and bought the CD, then found that I don't dislike a single song on the album. That's rare...

Death Cab for Cutie's "Transatlanticism" is cool, too. B)

the moon and antartica is cool, but building nothing out of something and the lonesome crowded west i like more.

i have not met a zepplin album i didn't like.

jimi hendrix - are you experienced

stevie ray vaughan - texas flood

get up kids - on a wire

built to spill - keep it like a secret

eric clapton - unplugged

filter - the amalgamut

white album - the beatles

the beatles - sgt peppers lonely hearts club band

the beatles - abbey road

the doors - the doors

jimi hendrix - electric ladyland

i like a whole lot more, but my tastes are pretty diverse. just no rap!

nope, but i'll bet they are pretty good.  they seem like the band that could just sit and jam for 20 min during one song.

they put on a great show... Doug (lead singer) was sitting at the bar just havin beers and chatting with people while the opening band was playing.
