Veneficus
actually some lady rearended me about a week ago, no damage was done but the sub didn't move an inch. I only used the "hook" side of the velcro and stuck it to the carpet in the trunk. It takes a good hard tug or two to dislodge it from the floor once its been stuck for a month. I did screw my amp down to the floor though, since i know i won't need to remove it any time soon.←that sucks... how'd the brick fair?

The Reverend
How do I attach the velcro (or as I prefer to call it, the French Zipper) to my box? Do I need to cut away some carpet to do it? I am still deciding, so I can be convinced either way :)
PyROZen
just stick the hook side of the velcro to the bottm of the box, then stick the box to the floor of your trunck. the carpet in the trunk should have enough grip to hold the box in place. Get as much of the surface area covered.

The Reverend
OK, so carpet left on the box, staple the french zipper down onto the box, use just the hook side and stick the box to the carpet in the car. Is that the general consensus?
