JesterKB Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 i need help You went a fairly long time from when you stated you would add some water until the recent post saying you need a new sensor. From reading the whole thread, I still can’t tell if all that is wrong is you are an ounce or two low, the light comes one, it heats up and it goes out. Did you add some water and the light stayed out for a longer time, but has now come back on again? If that is the case it sounds more like a small leak. If you are not seeing anything at first, there are 2 places you need to look for small leaks. The water pump can develop a leak past it's seal and will drip out a small weep hole at the bottom of the center housing. Another place is a leaking heater or o-ring connector there, so check the carpet near the center front floor carefully. Please let us know and perhaps more info to go on as to what it is you are seeing.Jerry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
neworleans Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 thank you very much Jerry, I will pay more attention to the coolant level, I've added some water as you said and the light was still on but after a while it went off.. So as you said, it could be a small leak... I check the coolant tank but it seems like full unless this sensor is so sensitive...
