Speed Sensor On '95 854t

i already hooked up the '96 slushbox to the replacement motor,but since the acceptor car is an '95, i'm running into the eternal problem with the different place for getting the signal for the speedo .

i read some threads on the subject, where ppl seem to run into problems when trying to get a signal from places other than the one indicated by the manufacturer in '96: the TRACS monster!

sooo,since i need more experienmce anyway, i want to dis- the '96 and re-assemble the '95 tranny (and hopefully, this time i'll be hooking up the transmission the correct way )

it seems likea waste of time to some ppl i asked about this, but i don't want to run into any problems, so to me the effort seems justfied .

plus, like mentioned, need more experience anyways

so, is it a stoopid thing to do this?

my 94 855T has 98 tranny - speedo is tapped to ABS wire. Look here:
