I so want your ECU!!! Timimg and money are the greatest factors That I'm dealing with right now, So If the price is right when the timimng is right I will get your ECU! Yo man I saw your vids on youtube!!! That's how we volvos represent on EVOs!!!! yo good stuff man! by the way, are you running stock internals or what?

P.S Write back cuz I do want your ECU but am in the process of getting an HDTV .

No I have an auto trans at the moment, But I will be doing a swap probably at the same time when I Pick up the ECU. Answer me this,

Is you car running on stock internals or what?

Cuz the way you dusted off that EVO was no joke! You really let him have time after time.Here's my set up,

I'm running full stage III set up just no tune.

S60R manifold

S60R Turbo (K24 kkk)

Green injectors

Walbro 255 Fuel pump

Short ram CAI

Reverse intercooler pipes

OBX 3"DP no cat straight pipe

MSD Blaster SS ignition coil

denso iridium plugs

IPD 8mm blue wires

I need a good tune and a manual tranny Then I can go EVO hunting too!

Hey,

Yes my car is on stock internals, it has worked well for the past year and a half like this with frequent tracking so it seems up to the job, but I can't guarantee yours obviously :)

You would need to swap your green injectors for the injectors that I'm supplying with the ECU. But I wouldn't mind taking the greens off your hands in that case ;)

Your setup is a lot like mine, only running a K24 turbo instead of a T3/T4.

One thing though, dump those iridium plugs and run cheap coppers, especially when you get a good tune in there. Will save you from a world of hurt..

I tell you what, judging on the way that Evo pulled on that M3 and then you turned around and pulled on that EVO the way you did I would say that you are running quite a bit more whp than your tune suggests. I would definetly like that power at my disposal cuz there are some EVOS around here that are actin like they are the bomb so I think I need to defuse the situation. Your injectors are 410cc right? If I'm not wrong i thought the green injectors were 450cc or so, but no biggie I'll swap them with you. FYI: My car runs on G35s above 110mph. It's pretty even from 70mph - 100 though and kills civic SI's and any BMW 3.0 liter just so you know even though it's not tuned i use my EBC to give me a little extra oomph and the car runs really well there is just a plateau of power that I hate and I must be able to out accelerate the compressed 4 cylinders that are giving me problems such as the STi's and EVO's and even you occasional tuned 350z G37 and turbo civic. Thanks for the tip on the spark plugs, I guess you are saying that the pose a threat to my set up? and While we are on the topic of plugs are you familiar with Pulsestar "Pulse Plugs"? From what I understand they are supposed to be better all around than conventional spark plug because they have a built in capacitor that keep a stronger burst of power on tap ( www.pulstar.com ) dcheck it out and tell me what you think In the meantime I'm really trying to get the money together for your ECU. Little more difficult right now as I'm temporarily out of work but I have a few prospects on the horizon that hopefully shoud pan out very nicely and if not There afew folks that owe me some $$$ so either way you should be hearing from very soon. Keep the vids coming I really appreciate the way you handle your whip!! ;)

It's pretty even from 70mph - 100 though and kills civic SI's and any BMW 3.0 liter just so you know even though it's not tuned i use my EBC to give me a little extra oomph and the car runs really well. But you are right I Desperatley NEED a Good Tune to actually tap into the full potential of my set up and wake this beast up to get to crackin all those people out there asleep at the wheel in regards to volvos.

You would need to change injectors because the ECU is programmed to use these exact 410cc injectors. If you use bigger ones it won't run right.

As far as my power, it has more power on the street than on that dyno yes, poor cooling and stuff. But who knows how much exactly, its hard to guess.

I would venture to say that it is running so rich now that it is carboned up REALLY BAD. It might be running harder and better but in the long run you are killing your motor.

How thick is the carbon on the tail pipe?

I've heard of people burning holes through cylinders with those plugs... I don't know what the deal is but I hear it raises combustion temps way high in little spots and they just burn right through your shit... I haven't done much reading since when they first came out so I don't know if those claims are valid but you might want to check it out.

As far as the tune or need of one I should say Thanks for the heads up with the carbon build up issue but that won't change until I get a tune right? So then I should not be running so rich. That's why I'm tryin to get the $$$ so I can get that ECU!! Then carbon guild up problem solved. In regards to the denso iridium plugs I just got them because I heard that they were better because they burned hotter. So now you are sayin that they are a potential risk!? :o OK just tell me what plugs based on my set up and perfomance wants will perform optimally? Anyone care to interject? Please. :huh:
