Manual Swap Complete Won't Turn Over

So I completed my manual swap got the car back together, go to start it up and it wont crank.

98 S70 T5.

I connected the green and green/red wires from the auto trans plug, also hooked up the backup lights.

I verified that there is juice to the starter on the red wire to the solenoid, I have not checked the green wire when turning the key in the start position, thats next but I'm done for the day.

I also tried reversing polarity on the crank sensor for the heck of it but no change there.

I have not verified that this starter is a working starter since its not the one I had in my car but one that I got with my manual swap parts.

Any else I'm missing?

well why not use your old starter? that would be your best bet if you are 100% sure you connected the correct green and green/red wires, and for reversing the polarity on the sensor you are doing it on the very top sensor that looks at the flywheel correct?

+1 Make sure everything on the starter is wired up correctly. As far as I know the starter didnt change with the manual trans so you could always just swap your old one back on.

If the started is good, you can bridge the batt cable with the solenoid terminal using a screwdriver; the car will then crank. Since this bypasses the key/secondary wire it will tell you if the problem is your wiring mod or the starter itself.

Why would you do anything with the sensor, you car is '98. Also, this would have nothing to do with a no crank condition.

monkey the starter, talk to ajhehr but i wanna say it's crank angle sensor or cam position sensor, it's always the same problem with new manual swaps.

im almost 100% certain the motor will crank regardless of the sensor, it just wont run.
