it's funny you mention racing for pinks. at first i told him i'd put up a grand just to bait him in...he said he has no money, and then he mentioned selling his car and i said well lets race for pinks (i sounded serious but was far from it) and he just comes back with (then i'm going to have to get rid of two cars. what am i going to do with a volvo??) i think it's just becoming a running joke, but man it's pretty annoying having to answer the same questions and having my car viewed as the stereotypical safe brickmobile <_<

1/4 i lean towards him, from a roll you would have him, i raced a fox body 5.0 with similar mods to the one you listed and i didnt pass him until 110 so thats why i say he will have you in the quarter, but if he gets a bad launch and you get a good one i might lean to you

that'd be nice. when i lived in the puget sounds area of washington, we had these events called car club challenges (CCC) and every kind of vehicle would come out and compete in auto x, drag, time attack, and all sorts of stuff for points...lol mentioning the track made me think of that. i miss WA...californias lame

a few months ago on our last track excursion, we got run down by 07+ gt's all night long, putting down high and mid 13's. we didn't even break into 14's, my t5 was stock. on the way home, the stang crew caught up to us and wanted some freeway fun. we smashed every single stang in the entire group by bus lengths, took em all on one at a time and the result was the same for all of them.

if you want him, it won't be at the track and it'll only add fuel to his taunting when he beats you. if it's a slightly modded gt, a dig is going to be in his favor.

LOL that reminds me of this guy i work with he's got this little beanermobile, it's a 97 impreza wagon with an intake and exhaust, complete with chrome hubcap spinners and sunoco stickers, etc, NON TURBO, he says he races like mustangs(prolly the mid 80's 4 bangers haha) and always talks shit like yeah dude volvo's are slow blah blah blah, and i keep saying, look if you honestly think you're going to win this, let's get on the bypass and see what's up, he always says some stupid thing like ahh i can't car's going in the shop there's something wrong with it riiight.
