Bazarvospeed
walboro pumps are loud... thats what i have in my 855. no air leaks i assume. meh , better than $300 right? I checked around the turbo lines.... When you told me about the lines I thought maybe my one line that used to pop off all the time from my ST tune. But everything looks in place. I smell fuel & im not seeing anything leaking. But the car started after fueling & driving about 5miles to the food store. It just cranks , stumbles & dies. tomorrow im hitting harry's for a relay before running back to the car. Hopefully my luck is good its the relay. But really , again like I said I really pushed every last cent I could into the tank. I hope I didnt ruin something too costly.
rick in denver
Always go with the cheapest and easiest solutions first. My thinking and I've had this same issue is "bad gas".

I bought the pump assy, fuel filter, relay, gasket, and shipping for $300 i think from Don. Filter may or may not have actually been included. The thing about the Wlabro is you have to hope the housing doesn't disintegrate when you pull it apart too. Good luck. Try the relay bypass first but i wouldn't be surprised if it's junk fuel myself. HtownTurboBrick
pump won't change the mpg any unless you have a lead foot. normal driving the injectors will do what they're told to do. the pump has no bearing on that, but if you're lead footed the pump will provide as much as it's demanded without hesitation from the stock injectors. Bazarvospeed
just got back from trying the few things you people mentioned. I got the relays from the yard ( fuel pump & the fuel injection relay ) . I replaced both & did the jumper trick with no luck. I think im going to go back and try sucking some of that gas out....maybe go as far as emptying the tank & try some new gas. but if this doesnt work out...... I guess the fuel pump. Do I need to drop the tank or could it be done easier that I have the Wagon? but I did get a quote $425 for the pump & $ 240 for installation.
raven_850
Change the fuel filter? It's only a 10 minute job. Way cheaper than $300. It may just be water/junk from your last fill up.When you turn the ignition on you should hear the fuel pump start.

I'm just hoping that I dont need to replace the pump :(
