Bazarvospeed
many of you know I had a problem after filling up my 855 in my other post. however I just returned from the yard with a used pump that seems to be replaced. it looks OEM and has the stamp from germany. anyways I pulled out the pump and there was this brass/gold ring that was sitting on the filter at the bottom of the pump. it looks like its supposed to be clinged onto the plastic shaft upwards towards the pump or anyone know where this is supposed to go before I install this pump. thanks. 64pvolvo1800
anybody? waiting before I head back to the car. Is there a little "sock" on the bottom? Maybe it's a retainer for that. As long as you have the seal i wouldn;t think it's an issue.

Don't clap, THROW MONEY :) it's really worth the measly money that it costs to become a supporting member here when shit like this happens. Just off the savings of towing and maintenance alone. All the deadbeats who lurk without forking over the bucks should take heed right here Thanks VS and Chuck for the support. Let's all gather round and sing Koom Bye Yah

If i try really really hard i can get 25, but i usually hover around 20...but then again i work 15 minutes away from home so it's 90% city driving all the time. Stupid stop lights...if i could cruise straight to work i'd get awesome mileage...

Well that is flat road with steady 65mph...... I didnt really hit on it , i got a used pump that looks to be replaced shortly ago. So I just wanted to get it home safely & sure. Gonna take it out once I have all the peices and trim back together once I find time later today. But at least she's now home and I'm happy once again to enjoy the new years with her.
