My wife has a 2001 2.4T S60 with 70K on it. when checking the timing belt condition I noticed my intake cam seal starting to leak. I don't want to do the TB right now (low on cash) but I do want to knock out the seal. My question is, if I line up the timing marks and loosen up the tensioner will either one of the cams snap over into another position or will everything stay in place for me to remove the sprocket on the intake side swap the seal then put it back together? I really don't want to mess with having to re time this thing and I'm not sure what will happen when tension is relieved off the belt. Also, any advice for swaping out the seal would be great.
