Is there a cable already run from the back of the radio to the trunk or glove box area or do I need to remove the factory radio to run a new cable. What model factory CD changer should I look for as being compatible with my factory head unit? Iirc, the Alpine ones are... but I'm not 100% sure what models. If you really want to have a CD changer, I suggest buying a new aftermarket head unit, and then a CD changer made by the same company. As a general rule, only JVC changers are compatible with JVC head units, Kenwood and Kenwood, and so on. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We recently installed a cd changer in my daughters wagon.. You have to purchase a cd changer adapter or some small cable (some people call it interface), and a cd changer, the connection is very simple and the hardest thing was deciding where to install the changer.
