unidivr Posted January 12, 2009 Report Share Posted January 12, 2009 Hi, MY 01 Volvo S60 has some electrical problems, when you first start it, it seems ok, but the "brake failure, stop as soon as safe" light comes on. a few seconds later, the gauges stop working. I just replaced the battery because it was completly dead, and the original, 8 years old. I thought the problem could related to the battery, the alt is charging at 14 volts.
