Jack8745
got a NA intake and a valve cover from a JY last weekend, with the intention of polishing maybe porting the intake. --- i read the topic on a NA intake on a turbo. ---- i recall someone saying that there are 2 bolt patterns on intakes ? if yes what do i look for?the valve cover i got in order to polish it. Im now thinking its not such a good idea to use a different cover then the one that come on my car, since they wear to original engine and switching it might cause problems. Am i right?do i have to take off the t-belt inorder to install the intake?whats the tool used to install the valve coverEDIT: take off the t-belt in order to install the valve cover

Oreo931
not the plastic spark plug cover the actual engine valve cover.Valve covers/Cam covers are mated to the head. They can not be swapped. So basically you bought a nice piece of scrap metal. As per the intake manifold, the tbelt does not have to be removed. bum2kev
haha ya thats what got me, i figured no one would buy just a valve cover.... but yes its true its mated to the head, i would not recommend swapping it on your head.

johnloves850's
would a complete n/a head work on a turbo block?or is it better to use just the cams?
CoRalV70
would a complete n/a head work on a turbo block?or is it better to use just the cams?Heads do not fit, use the cams even though there kinda meh. Sacrafice more low-end for a little extra high-end. And im not positive but im pretty sure the LPT's already have the N/A cams?
