Has been done by many I believe. Just get another relay and wire it up the same way the driver's side is (except for the passenger side, of course).

There is a guide out there somewhere about doing the rear lit switch mod.

My newer car has both auto up and down front windows. A nice convenience feature I'd like to add to the 850 wiring. Any one done that?

Auto up and down on newer cars is done with two things which we don't readily have: hall-effect sensors in (or rather, near) the motors and limit switches (I believe).

The auto-down module on 850s and S70s is an interesting device in that it senses a spike in current to detect motor stall. You can test this by putting the window in auto down mode and then grabbing it with both hands to keep it from going down. It should stall out and the relay will click off, thinking it reached the bottom.

You can use a second module for the passenger side though (as well as both rears).

Thanks!

I like the One touch Up/Down plus this unit does auto vent position. Have you installed one? I see some brand new DEI 530s on eBay ~ $50.

I have a module from a different company. It only does it when using an alarm.

But the DEI is awesome... no alarm needed. I'm thinking about changing my modules to DEI's to get the auto down/up feature in the car. Make sure that it's a 530 and NOT a 529.
