fiveMILLI
Hey guys, name is Matt and its my first post on this forum but I've been a member for about a month already just studying some of the stuff I see around here. Well our family got our S70 about a week and a half ago from a good friend of my parents. The previous driver stopped using his S70 regularly ever since he got his Camry a year ago. This past saturday I was driving and came to a stop at a red light. A couple seconds later the engine totally turned off. I was able to restart the car and continue driving but ever since then it's been happening daily.I'm only 17 and have been really interested in cars and how they work. On the sidenote I drive a 2000 Nissan Quest and it isn't the best way to pick up girls so i'm hoping I get the S70 in due time. Thank you in advance everyone and I hope to contribute in the future! MrWinkey
Welcome Matt, I doubt it's a fuel pump...more inclined to think the ETM needs cleaned? I could pick up girls in a Nissan Quest and lots of them! You can pick up twice as many than in the Volvo sedan! ;)
volvo-tech
I think a MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor). Most of the time if the fuel pump goes out, it will not restart.
