C70drvr
My first car!Not acual car, but just like it.I'm wondering, how was it. A 1990+ 500SL was actually my second choice if I wasn't able to find a saffron 5 speed.

shanehutton
I think I have been hooked since I put up the poster of a white Porsche 930 slantnose on my wall in the mid 80sMy first Euros though were both G60 VW cars.1992 G60 Passat Syncro (Mine was grey)1990 G60 Corrado (Not mine - I was way lower and had diff wheels.)It was another decade until I got my first Porsche1987 944S (just like mine)Still on the wish list:-1973 911 (RS clone)-1990 325is (would obviously need a motor swap...)-1994 Audi RS2 avantFunny enough, almost all my favorite cars were built between 87 - 94. EricF
I have a feeling my next vehicle purchase will be either a full-ton van or truck... And that will be American (and live semi-permanently attached to my boat trailer ). But for a daily driver car, I do like the European brands. Young Burnsy
I was sold on euro because 1. I'm not asian2. Superior quality to everything American & Better refinement & better interiors. I'm not a fan of hard plastic.3. Curves > straightEven though American auto makers are starting to figure out what handling is.
jnderr
I've always liked euro cars. My S70 is what really turned me. Its the first car I've done extensive work on maintenance and otherwise. The fact that its been so easy to work on really sold me ever since I first did the the timing belt. Since then I've done rotors, pads, wheel bearing and then lastly a manual swap, never thought I'd do something like that!Probably the car I'd really like to have is an E28 M5. That and get the '53 XK120 my wife's grandfather left unfinished and is sitting in a barn.
RZT5
And The Car That Makes Me Love Euro Cars The Most Is The Audi S4 the B5 audi S4 was my favorite car period for quite a few years. That S8 from Ronin got me interested, but the B5 S4 (and RS4) soon took over as my favorite car. And its still one of my all time top favorite cars along with the E39 M5, Audi RS2 and RS6 (both generations), R32-R34 GTR, aircooled porsche 911 turbos, and believe it or not 98 manual S/V70 R FWD.
