harleyhv Posted January 23, 2009 Report Share Posted January 23, 2009 Just noticed this morning that: 1) My keyfob works ok to lock/unlock doors / alarm, etc...2) The Car key does not seem to be able to lock/unlock the doors... does not even turn... However, car key does start the car no problem.... so had a WTF moment... I had to reset last december the famous "ABS" message that appeared when I change the climate control back lights to blue ledwithout unplugging the battery... I know... rookie mistake...Did a search, found some keyfob info... nothing much on the car key side of things...Do I have to change the door lock? Maybe they swapped out the ignition lock and key but not the doors for some reason. Was it ever stolen? Hmmm? strange things. Usually the key would work but not the remote.
