boost spool is comparable to the 19T :D

Never in a million years, but I'm looking forward to find out where exactly it does hit full boost. Around 4000rpm it should do well but a 19T would have been going at full tilt for about 1500rpm already at that point.

Outlet port is smaller than Volvo's angle flange (to maintain backpressure/low rpm spool, I assume)

Post turbine backpressure would never be able to help spool, quite the contrary.

Good luck, it looks sweet, get to work!

Do you have personal experience with the td05/tdo6 20g that Hahn sells? They claim it's spool is comparable to the 19T. I'll find out of course, once I actually have it.

Wonder why they have a 2.3" outlet...

Well I don't have to own it to know it's physically impossible ;)

Still, i'm sure you'll like it though. Just know what to expect!

OK. I'll bear that in mind. My expectation is that it will be significantly less laggy that a Garrett :D

The mitsu's are inferior to the GT ball bearings when it comes to spooling but it depends on wheel and housing sizes. "a Garrett" is a very broad statement :D So it won't be true in all cases. You could find a Garrett with the same power rating that would spool better, but it would be more expensive.

I know, sorry - I just don't like 'em - and since I'm AWD, I have no reason to go with a mammoth BB unit.

Yes you do! So that you can blow out the bevel gear and/or VC so that we can get cracking on developing something that will actually hold power. :)

Sorry, man - I don't have that kind of money. :D The thought of doing an EVO AWD mod as mentioned elsewhere sounds interesting, but definitely waay beyond what I'd spend on a DD :D (Plus my wife would kill me) <_<

It's not even close. I have a 20g and my brother had a 19t. Not close.

I assume manual will be a bit faster of a spool - maybe 3700 for full boost ?

Doesn't make a noticable differnce manual or automatic..you need the revs to get enough exhaust gases.

My T3/T04E 50trim with a stage 3 turbine wheel but a .48 AR hotside hits full boost at 3800-3900 (slightly less in high gears). But that's with a small exhaust housing, not a 10cm² one.

Thanks for the specific input. It'll be fun either way.

I hope that everything will work fine for you Hussein. And what about the rest of the part?Injectors-ECU tuning.

Volvo Greens WothRline tune coming

Still waiting for IPD to get back to me on their tune's torque drop :(
