il bambino martino
So this bunny rabbit hopped across the freeway as I was hurrying home (if he'd been a chicken, I'd entertain opinions as to why), and long story short - he's dead and I needed a new turn signal.Just got one from eBay, an aftermarket one that fits perfectly but... the rest of the front of my car is 11 years old, and this shiny new lens is sticking out like a sore thumb. Any ideas how to give it a more distressed look?

exexpat
or try steel wool on it to reduce the shine. Try an edge before you do a front surface. This is also the way to reduce sheen on vinyl or leather.

Jaxx
have a friend with a truck unload a bag of sand on the side with the new turn signal.but what I would do is polish up the rest of the lenses. some sand paper, polishing compound and a few days work, your front end will look great. :)

johnnyturbo2002
start hunting for another rabbit for the other side. Depending on where you live, you might be eating it for dinner as well...
khax
i share your problem. i've been considering going back to stock corners even though they're ugly just cause i feel like a ricer with these lenses that stick out so much.
Wagoneer855
I had the same problem, my clear corners didn't matched my blacked out headlight housings so I sprayed two very thin coats of nightshade and then polished them. Matches perfectly now!
