--Aaron--
I hope to see Volvo continue to be successful regardless of the owner.

Hoosier Daddy
i don't think BMW would want the volvo line competing with their performance image. it might be the death of the R if bmw takes over. or, maybe not.

Young Burnsy
Please have BMW buy it.Won't happen. Doesn't make sense. What would BMW get out of Volvo?I want Porsche to buy Volvo. Can you imagine how awesome the R line would be then? No, Because it would directly compete with Audi and VW. I don't know Porsche would even do with Volvo the two makes are so different.almost anything would be better than ford I don't think the Koreans or the Chinese would be good for Volvo. I'd like to see a European company buy them. FIAT or Renault seem like the only possibility to me.Although best case would be that a group of investors from Sweden would buy them back. BurgerBob
I want Porsche to buy Volvo. Can you imagine how awesome the R line would be then? This has been said before, but it would suck for guys like us. No one at Porsche is going to build up Volvo. That would mean competition for their own vehicles.
