Finally had time to wash the car and take some pictures..Tell me what you think..So the later part of last year my spring seats went bad followed by my right strut. Was really looking into doing up grades until this summer but life comes at you like that. So i was on fence with either putting in sway bars with the struts/shocks or going with sports springs. Talked to some friends about it and it came out to the springs. Christmas time was on its way and had alot of money invested in the family etc for the holidays. I got a great deal on OEM struts/shocks that I couldnt turn away. Next was the springs. REALLY wanted do go with IPDs new ones but they informed me that springs for the S60 weren't coming out till later in 09' didn't have that much time. Ran into Tightmopedman9 who had KILEN springs and stated they drop around 1.6ish. Found some and had them shipped right away. Meanwhile picked up Eibach camber kit, strut mounts,front endlinks,IPD HD spring seats just to make sure everything was up to date. So when everything finally came in the mail "socal850tuner" and one of my friends said they wanted to help out. BIG thanks to Socal850tuner for basically doing all the work and teaching me as went along side with my friend Carlos on my car. and here we go....there goes the frontKILEN springs next to OEM springs "Carlos doesn't like people to see his face lol lolthe goes the rearBEFOREfrontrearAFTERfrontrearone finger in Frontsmashing two fingers in rearBig big thanks to Socal850tuner, Tightmopedman9 for all there insight and work. SCENE 2 lol12k HIDs in the Fogsafter seeing BAREASS with HIDs in his fogs it had to be done. Install: one fog light was older then the other thats why one is yellow and the other is clear. also the plastic was alot harder to melt/sand down. 12K HIDS in ready to goFired up"there alot bluer in person"ALSO 5k,6k,8k lows are becoming so common its hard to set you apart from the DD. Probably not gonna run into too many people sporting the 3k / 12k combo, especially in your order. I'm still in the saving up phase for my HIDs, but I'm definitely sold on the 12k's. The 3K's look really good, nice combo with the fogs mate. good 2 see u got the car washed, me 2 hehe. socal850tuner Posted January 26, 2009 Report Share Posted January 26, 2009 Dude... It looks sick now that it has settled. When we installed it I could get almost 2 fingers in the front. I hadn't seen the lights until now, and damn they look sick. Sorta opposite rice (blues lows and yellow fogs instead of your setup), however it looks very tasteful I think. I was surprised we didn't need my spring compressors to assemble the front suspension, that made life so much easier doing the install haha.
