gwjeepin Posted January 26, 2009 Report Share Posted January 26, 2009 We ust had the car go to the dealer to deal with a door lock problem that had never been seen by the tech in his ten years of Volvo work. But during the course of me trying access the lock and removing the panels the SRS light came on. I did not notice as its the wifes car, the tech ran a diagnostic got a SRS-412 Left SIPS bag Signal Missing, the Status reads; DTC is found but not active.My question is;Is this shade tree mechanic repairable (yes it is an airbag and I understand the risks associated)could it be connection related or just a burned/shorted out sensor?
