Oooooh VS gods of paint and body, i humbly call upon you for i am out of my realm on this one... a.k.a. wtf mate

so as i mentioned earlier my bumper was somehow pulled off violently. below the damage is pictured. discretion is advised.

this is what it should look like (drivers side)

this is what the passenger's side looks like

i went to a body shop to get an estimate on what the repairs would be. i didn't even know what to ask for! cut off the bent flanges and weld in fabricated ones?? bend the old ones back into shape?? this is frustrating, and i need some reassurance that this isn't a big deal. <_<:(

bend old ones back into shape

get new bolts for both side and the one side where the nut that was welded on and now removed get a bolt and nut along with a large fender wash

and be golden.

its not worth getting cut off and welded on .

that's what i was leaning toward. i got a quote on just that for $100 with a coat of rust inhibitor and paint. good deal??

 why not just do it yourself ?

take about 10min and $5 worth of paint B)

i know i could but i would rather have the quality assurance, and someone to blame if it goes wrong. on the bright side however i did get an R bumper ordered this morning

this one though...idk about this one. kinda didn't tie into the whole i bent my stuff up topic.

i think it may have been meant for a different thread...or...maybe you have the most intelligent form of tourettes the world has ever known!!!

I could understand that if the chassis leg had been bent, but all you've done is pull the corners out of shape and snapped off one of the captive nuts. I could have that straight in about 5 mins with nothing but a hammer and some vice grips.
