Aaron, I forgot to mention i have a st 17psi tune, is 12 still too much in 1st/2nd gear?

On my ST tune.....12 psi in 2nd was causing fuel cut......2nd stays right around 8 right now and the car will hold WOT til whenever I tell it to.

even on a HP engine?

Aaron i get how to put vac to it but what do i need to asdjust? is is the arm or is there some sort of screw or somehting there for adjustments? does it have to be off the car?

its been a while since i looked at the turbo and dont remember

thanks

You want to remove the cotter pin or whatever it is you have keeping the actuator from popping off the wastegate post, loosen up the 10mm nut right behind the actuator head and adjust accordingly to ~4 psi. This takes a few minutes and can easily be done without breaking your back.

And you're welcome. :)

a slice for you :pizza:B)

on a side note, what do you guys think can be done with a LPT engine with forged pistons/ rods. ie bigest turbo, psi, etc

getting ready to start collecting parts for a full rebuilt in few years

ha they work just fine on an 850. I bought one when they first came out just for the hell of it and have ran it for a while now and no problems at all. Boost is same as before just better response

Mmmm , I emailed them and got the answer that [if my memory isnt too bad] the spikes and surges with a 16t and std boost /mapping etc is a bit special and needs serious work to improve the std one and i think an EBC would be better unless you go the full aftermarket ecu path then you can control ALL.
