(or am i missing something on his site?)well... guess i better introduce myself and my VISA #'s to him... i'm making a lot of new "friends" lately

Keaton85
99+ is a whole different stuff show of expenses! You have the easy and cheap PCV system.93-98=easy99+ PITA X10Wait, you just gave me a good idea, what about using the older style on the 99+? just leave the coolent hose alone! probably different but it might just fit

Keaton85
They are both correct, yes the nipple in the diagram for the hose that goes to the head is forward but it's close to the edge where it's suppose to be. The one leading from the trap to the intake is suppose to be attached to the center nipple. It's just a little funky looking on the diagram but really they are both correct. The intake hose ALWAYS leads to the center of the oil trap. ALWAYS! 7 VII 7
ok, maybe you are not looking at both pictureslook at the diagram from IPD where the hoses connect to the OIL TRAPthey are different than MINElook again and tell me what you see... I am not talking about the intake PCT part
Keaton85
I'm talking about the oil trap, yes it's funky looking becuase the holes are in totally the wrong spots. It doesnt matter, just as long as the hose that leads to the intake is in the MIDDLE of the oil trap.. pay no attention to IPDs diagram, go get a real diagram from the dealer or VADIS!In plain English your picture is correct and the diagram is messed up. decker
Y'all wanna know the ironically funny... yet sad part of my adventure? All of the piece's seemed to be in fairly good shape and the trap is pretty clean looking into the pipes... but... it's all BRAND NEW now... (I might take the trap downstairs later today and cut the top from it... just to peek inside and be certain.)next stop... serp belt system... and timing belt!!! :o
