Of as I say, the one that is closest to the block is ALWAYS gonna go to the top of the engine. Bling is Sooooo correct. This discussion took place over on MVS yesterday as well.

i would like to personally strangle the IDIOT who's brilliant idea it was to put the bango bolt and pcv line under the intake manifold right next to the alternator... you'd better PRAY i never find you... pray my friend.

ok... rant over... i've been dinking with it for nearly an hour now... i even took the back of the alternator off to get one more c-hair to work with... and i do NOT want to take the intake off to put this one lousy stinking BANJO BOLT back in...

i finally got it... about 4 more attempts after i had to walk away and vent... which you clearly saw... and if i ever meet that engineer... he's gunna git an A$$ kickin' ;)

etm's in... the only things left i have to do are bleed the cooling system out... reinstall the fan... and put four more clamps on the intercooler hoses... which are now my new "madness"... wth is that thread that shows how to bend those stupid t-bar "aircrap" clamp bolts a smidgen... i can't recall... it's one a.m. time to call it a night and i'll finish in the morning... i'm beat. clamps got the best of me now... :o <---YAWN

if not for the two hours i spent thinking and dinking with that b.j. bolt... i'd be done already... maybe <_<

I'm putting a tranny back into the '00 S70 right now and it looks like we might be able to use the 94-98 style PCV hose instead of the really expensive one. When I do the PCV on my S60 I will see if the older style fits. Then we wouldnt have to take apart that PITA banjo bolt. Just a thought though...

cool... it'd be good to know for other folks down the road if it works... BUT do keep in mind that the BJ bolt under the intake manifold isn't for coolant... it's for vacum... my bolt had some "crud" in it but nothing major. the line from it appeared well coated... but wasn't plugged. i'll look and see but i think all my old pieces are in the garbage now... i should've saved them so you could see how the lines interweave... or just sent them to you. crap. <_<

I am going to say no there not interchangeable since each system is totaly different minus the peice that goes from the box to the top of the block .

but that could not fit either due to the different intakes.

the main (big long) tube from the '98 & down might work but it would most likely hinge upon the size "F" & "B" in the '98 & down picture

i think you'd have to cobble the small tube from the Banjo bolt's old line and adapt/connect it to the new line.

most likely... a pain in the a$$ and not worth the hassle imo... but to each his own according to his needs

if i had to do the whole job again... i'd just pull the intake manifold... the location of that banjo bolt is... well... let's just say... less than ideal
